Scholarship from the Rossotrudnichestvo

The Government of the Russian Federation annually provides 15,000 places for free education of foreign citizens. Competitive selection for free education within the quota is organized by representations of Rossotrudnichestvo
in different countries in the world. If there is no representation of Rossotrudnichestvo in the country, competitive selection is organized by the embassy (consulate) of the Russian Federation.

СThe scholarship provides your free education on chosen specialty for the entire period of receiving education. Also, if you need to improve your knowledge of Russian language, the scholarship covers education on the Faculty of Philology. In addition, there is a place in the campus and monthly payment. A scholarship can be obtained by all candidates with completed secondary – level or secondary – special education (school, technical school, lyceum, etc.) and successfully passed com petitive selection in their country.

The candidate must register on the Russia portal study and send an application for a quota. Competitive selection is provided in two stages. 

1. The first stage will be held in your country. For this you need to contact the Russian Center science and culture (RCSC). If there is no RCSC in your country, you need to contact the
   embassy of the Russian Federation.
2. The second stage is the selection of Russian suited candidates. Results of the competitive selection will be known after consideration by universities of all received applications.

After 1 or 2 months of passage of competitive selection in your country and sampled universities in Russia you are informed about results. If you do not pass the selection you can send an application for contract training and get into Russian University on fee base. For that you send your application which is saved in your account on Russia, study for contract it is not necessary to send application for the second time.

It does not bear the payment for travel to the university, living expenses and insurance. You can go to the representation of the Rossotrudnichestvo or diplomatic representation of Russia in our country to clarify
